Key Responsibilities
Accounts and Reconciliation
- Reconcile all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero
Payroll and Superannuation
Prepare fortnightly payroll and ABA files for processingEnsure timely and accurate processing of superannuation obligationsMonitor and report on outstanding invoices and payment follow-upsAccounts Payable
Prepare and summarise current payable items for approvalGenerate ABA files and submit in advance of scheduled payment dates Compliance and ReportingCollaborate with the Accountant and CFO to support : ○ GST, BAS, IAS reporting ○ End-of-year financial documentationEnsure all financial reconciliations are completed weekly Communication and LiaisonRespond to internal finance queries promptlyLiaise with the Admin team to clarify any discrepanciesMaintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial communicationsCompliance and Reporting

Cancellations : Monitor daily requests to cancel sessions, ensuring adequate follow-up and conversion to an alternative option (, rescheduling, telehealth, longer follow-up session, additional session in school holidays).Follow up with the admin / therapy team if no action has been taken.Unplanned Therapist Absences : Review Slack and Cliniko to determine therapists who are absent each day and action necessary follow-ups. Report any issues to leadership.Identify and address potential scheduling issues promptly.Provide possible solutions and consult with leadership if needed.Requirements
Proven experience in bookkeeping, reconciliation, and payrollProficiency in XeroSolid understanding of Australian payroll, BAS, and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and time management skillsAbility to work independently and remotelyCalendar Management experienceBenefits
