QUANTITY SURVEYOR

• RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists the Project Team in the preparation of project budget until approval of the Top Management.
• Assists the Project Manager in preparing procurement plan until approval of the Management.
• Ensures that recommended bidders are the approved shortlisted suppliers.
• Monitors the procurement bidding and submissions to ensure timely award of the specialty works.
• Facilitates procurement, bid conferences, and negotiation with the Negotiating Committee.
• Ensures that subcontract documents were issued to the Vendors during the bidding and awarding.
• Prepares draft Subcontract Agreements for processing and signing at Head Office.
• Analyzes, compiles results, prepares preliminary draft of recommendation report for review and approval of the management.
• Documents and reviews any changes or amendments that may arise during subcontract implementation or execution.
• Assists the Sr.

Quantity surveyor in various variation claims to the Owner.

• Reviews the content of the documents for claims submitted by the Subcontractors based on the subcontracts with DDTKI.
• Monitors that the Subcontractors produce deliverables that meet our contract obligations to the client.
• Checks / evaluates / coordinates Subcontractors billing, accomplishment and charges.
• Prepares Subcontractors accomplishment and recommendation for payment.
• Prepares and process Vendor Performance Evaluation whenever needed.
• Assists the Project Team in preparing Project Close-out Report.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
• QUALIFICATIONS
• Licensed Civil Engineer
• At least two (2) years experience in estimating, cost and contract administration and other construction related works.
• Knowledgeable in cost evaluation, contract writing, quantification and other operational procedure.
