Work Shift : Morning Shift | Monday-Friday

About the Job : Responsibilities :

Prepare and deliver monthly consolidated financial statements across the group.

Review Balance sheet reconciliations and carry out own Balance sheet reconciliations.

Enter inter-company transactions to ensure accurate reporting and consolidation through the group.

Ensure compliance with AU accounting and tax standards such as GST & BAS.

Coordinate payroll processing with the payroll officer to ensure accurate payment of salaries, taxes, and benefits.

Work with the CFO to establish, improve, and maintain strong internal control processes.

Assist contracted tax advisors in preparing AU tax returns.

Prepare and file payroll tax within deadlines.

Support the CFO in developing budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis.

Provide regular financial updates and strategic insights to support decision-making.

Identify opportunities and recommend cost-saving measures.

Support data-driven decision making to optimize financial performance.

Daily Tasks may include :

Daily cash flow reporting.

Assist with credit control as needed.

Liaise with suppliers regarding Accounts Payable.

Post journals and transactions escalated from team members.

Provide reports and support to the CFO and directors.

Skills and Qualifications :

AU experience – general, tax, payroll.

Experience with accounting across related companies, including inter-company transactions and group consolidation reporting.

CA / CPA Qualified with minimum 3 years post-qualified experience.

Ability to manage priorities based on CFO and director requests.

Experience with management reporting, budgeting, and forecasts.

Manufacturing or Construction experience is preferred.

Audit experience is valued, indicating depth of skill and willingness to handle challenging projects.

Experience creating and improving internal financial controls.
