DevOps Engineer Makati

Location : One Ayala Makati, Philippines Working Hours : 8 : 00 pm to 5 : 00 am or 9 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 am (Night Shift) Working Days : Monday to Friday Work Set-up : On-site working environment Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on GCP.
• Utilize GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
• Set up and maintain network configurations, security policies, and IAM roles.
• Containerize Python / Django applications using Docker.
• Orchestrate container deployments using Kubernetes (GKE) for high availability and scalability.
• Implement best practices for container orchestration and management.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using GCP Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Ensure proactive monitoring of application performance, availability, and security.
• Set up alerts and dashboards to provide visibility into system health and performance.
• Work closely with data scientists and developers to understand application requirements and provide infrastructure solutions.
• Provide support for development, testing, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Software Developer and It Operations. Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience in a DevOps role, preferably in a GCP environment.
• Strong proficiency with GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
• Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
• Proficient in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
• Familiarity with setting up and managing databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience implementing security best practices in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) policies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to document processes, architectures, and infrastructure setups clearly.
• Experience with Python / Django application deployment and management.
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning workflows.
• Certification in Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, load balancing, and DNS.
