The Role

Senior Payroll & Accounting Specialist

TubeScience | Remote | Philippines

Mission-critical role for elite payroll professionals. Own flawless payroll operations while supporting strategic accounting functions in our rapidly scaling tech services company.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Excellence (70%)

Ensure 100% payroll accuracy and timeliness across all employees and contractors
Master complex multi-jurisdiction compliance and worker classifications
Proactively collect documentation (I-9s, invoices, tax forms) with executive-level professionalism
Navigate multi-platform ecosystems (Rippling, Wrapbook, PayPal, Ramp)
Resolve discrepancies immediately with analytical precision
Maintain bulletproof audit trails and compliance records

Accounts Payable Support (30%)

Own vendor payment accuracy and timing

Drive AP process optimization and month-end close support

Manage vendor relationships with professional excellence

Requirements : Core Qualifications

Bachelor's in Accounting / Finance (CPA track preferred)

4-6 years progressive payroll experience with proven mastery

California multi-state compliance expertise (essential)

Advanced contractor vs. employee classification knowledge

Technical Excellence

Expert proficiency in enterprise payroll systems (Rippling, Wrapbook, ADP)

Advanced Excel / Google Sheets capabilities

Strong GAAP knowledge and accounting fundamentals

Professional Standards

Exceptional communication skills for documentation collection

Zero-tolerance for payroll errors

Proactive problem-solving with analytical thinking

High-pressure performance while maintaining accuracy

6+ hour overlap with Los Angeles (7 AM - 7 PM PST)
