Lead Auditor with CQI / IRCA certifications (ISO45001 : 2018, ISO9001 : 2015, ISO14001 : 2015) (GBS Technical Reviewer)

SGS is the leading Inspection, Testing, Verification, and Certification company.

The GBS Technical Reviewer is responsible for verifying that ISO 9001 and / or ISO 14001 audit report packs comply with all relevant requirements.

The role involves ensuring that audits are conducted according to SGS procedural standards, including team competence, audit duration, and audit plan structure, and confirming that the audit outputs are technically appropriate and support the audit team's recommendations.

Responsibilities include checking that audit report packs :

All documentation is complete and present

Any changes since the client's application do not adversely affect certification

Any concessions for delayed or deviating visits are properly approved

Scope is clearly defined, including site identification and standards

Certification scope aligns with CDS or any changes are explained

Correct Industry EAC / TA code is assigned

Audit scope is covered by the SGS CBE accreditation

Audit days are in accordance with guidance, with deviations justified

Proposal was correctly approved

Audit was conducted by an appropriate, competent team

The team has necessary additional qualifications for specific standards

For re-certification, timing of the audit is correct

Audit plan aligns with required audit days, team composition, shift structure, and multi-site activities

Nonconformities are identified appropriately, with correct severity classification and clear wording

Observations and opportunities for improvement are documented clearly and appropriately

Audit conforms to SGS procedures and any applicable project or quality plans

No major nonconformity remains open

For minor non-conformities, the client's proposed corrective action is reviewed and accepted

Audit covers all relevant management system aspects and processes

Team recommendations are consistent with audit findings

Additional responsibilities include raising queries constructively, performing reviews within 5 working days, and utilizing IT systems like APPLAUDD+ and Certnet.

Knowledge requirements :

Management system standards and normative documents

SGS CBE processes and procedures

Audit principles, practices, and techniques

Client business sectors

Qualifications and skills include a university degree, fluency in English, at least 5 years of relevant experience, successful completion of Lead Auditor courses for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and strong organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to work under pressure and independently is also required.
