Job description

Reports to the Project Manager. Responsible for the quality of software development and deployment. Involved in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users.

• Reports and complies to task given by Project Manager and higher management;
• Regularly updates the status of assigned task to Project Manager;
• Provides / updates Testing documents such as TCS Functionality Test, Internal Test cases, SAT, FAT, User Manuals, Installation Guide and other TCS documents;
• Performs all TCS Software Testing;
• Installs the TCS Software on site;
• Monitors the performance of TCS after software updates;
• Prepares and submits Technical Report and Software Release Form to Project Manager;
• Files documents in physical and digital records and ensures their accessibility by all the members of the project team;
• Be able to carry out work after normal working hours when required to provide service to the Toll Collection System, which is a 24-hour operating system;
• Provides TCS Software Support for any software-related issues;
• Participates in preparing Project Proposals, Functional Specifications, Detailed Software Design, and other documents.
• Able to carry out work and reply or give feedback to the Project Manager after normal working hours when required.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager.
