Roles and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot cloud, network & system issues
- Monitor active cloud, network, and server infrastructure
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Administer security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches
- Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
- Design, implement, and support Microsoft, Apple, and Linux-related technologies
- Design, implement, and support Remote access solutions like VPN, Remote Desktop Services, VDI
- Document all technical procedures and maintain accurate ticketing notes
- Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
- Escalate service or project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer's needs
- Help to document internal processes and procedures
- Remain up to date with current and future technologies via publications, social media, groups, conferences, and more
- Mentor and train other team members on escalation procedures
