Job Description Summary :

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Helps prepare and review weekly overall material inventory status.
  • Closely work with assembly planners, assembly vendors, engineers and materials vendors (as needed), to ensure that inventory levels are in compliance to material ordering rules.

    • Ensures continuous supply of materials base on forecast and address issues pertaining to materials and proactively escalate issues to avoid loading gaps.

  • Work with Assembly vendors to review MOQ (min.

    • order qty) approval proposal based on historical loads, lot size and forecast and negotiate reduced order qty to minimize material exposure.

  • Review historical loads and provide PO for ageing unused and ageing materials based on agreed MRA (material review agreement).
  • Raise PR for all consigned materials orders, pre-buy PO and non stock items such as FLT, warehouse cost etc.
  • Send reports to finance for proper accounting of inventories such as adder and material cost, and consigned materials list.
  • Check cost adders billing for assembly for paid / consigned materials.Can be assigned task or special projects as required.
