We believe in doing things right.About the Role : We're looking for a Head of Engineering—a seasoned professional who doesn't just "know how" to get the job done but insists on doing it right, every time.

This is not a desk-bound oversight role.

This is a hybrid, high-impact position for someone who enjoys being in the trenches, coaching technicians, reviewing site plans, spotting non-compliant installs, and constantly improving how we work.

You will serve as both a mentor and a guardian of engineering integrity—upholding technical standards, creating clear documentation, refining processes, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across our projects.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish, document, and continuously improve ESP's engineering standards, protocols, and best practicesPerform technical audits and site inspections to ensure adherence to safety codes, compliance regulations, and quality standards (e.g.

EN81, DOLE, HLURB)Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and field technicians; lead toolbox talks and learning sessionsCollaborate with the engineering and project teams to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize long-term system reliabilityReview project plans, drawings, and documentation to ensure design intent and complianceDevelop, refine, and roll out SOPs, checklists, templates, and QC workflowsServe as liaison with third-party consultants, safety inspectors, and certifying bodies when requiredChampion a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and safetyIdeal Candidate ProfileLicensed Mechanical or Electrical EngineerMinimum 5 years experience in elevator / escalator or industrial electromechanical systemsStrong working knowledge of EN81, Philippine Electrical Code, and relevant local regulationsFamiliarity with quality management systems (e.g.
