Safety Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Comply with Solid Waste Management Program, Clean Water & Air Act, Hazardous Waste Management, Pollution Control Accreditation and Environment Compliance Certificate.
• Comply with OSH Standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement safety programs for the Company.
• Ensures observance of Corporate Safety Policy.
• Liaise with DOLE, BFP, OBO and other related agencies with regards to health and safety reguations.
• Warrants conformity of government regulations.
• Submit reports as required by regulatory agencies.
• Secure permits from government agencies on time.
• Conduct safety training and orientation of employees.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions on incidents and accidents.
• Frequently monitor and inspect any health or safety aspects of the operation being undertaken with the participation of supervisors and workers.
• Assist government inspectors in the conduct of safety and health inspection at any time whenever work is being performed or during the conduct of accident investigation by providing necessary information and OSH reports as required as required by the OSH standards.
• Continually upgrade required training / licenses.
