Principal Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction.
Review all sales and contract documents for completeness, compliance, and accuracy.
Assess customer needs for income and expense verification.
Ensure timely collection and processing of information for loan assessments.
Process applications and update information promptly.
Evaluate credit applications using serviceability calculators, credit history, and documentation.
Approve credit applications within designated limits.
Coordinate with sales offices and internal stakeholders.
Handle rescissions and refunds according to company guidelines.
Identify compliance concerns and escalate appropriately.
Manage document entry and storage in the internal system.
Follow all compliance guidelines and complete quality reviews.
Communicate with customers via phone, email, or SMS to verify income and clarify application details.
Perform other duties as required.
Adhere to relevant legislation such as Privacy Act, NCCP, and AML.
Comply with Wyndham Destination's OH&S policies and safety instructions.
Innovate and improve processes and products.
Uphold integrity by doing the right thing, taking responsibility, and fulfilling commitments.
Key Position Criteria
Experience or willingness to learn in Consumer Lending / Credit Underwriting.
Experience in Customer Service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of NCCP, AML, and Privacy Act frameworks; training provided.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines and KPIs.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of banking procedures and numeric skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Team-oriented with a supportive attitude and positive work ethic.
