Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement project sales strategies Identify target markets and high-potential industries (e.g., infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing) Create strategic action plans to penetrate new accounts and expand existing ones Manage the full sales cycle for project-based opportunities Lead activities from lead generation to project bidding, technical proposal submission, pricing, negotiation, and deal closure Ensure smooth handover to post-sales and project execution teams Conduct site inspections and technical presentations Assess client needs and site requirements Recommend appropriate engineering solutions aligned with technical specifications and client objectives Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships Serve as the key contact for project clients, consultants, and contractors Foster long-term partnerships through consistent engagement and excellent service Coordinate with internal teams for project execution Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Order Management, and After-Sales teams Ensure alignment of commitments, timelines, and deliverables Monitor project pipeline and achieve sales targets Track project leads, bidding status, and project conversion rates Analyze sales data and provide accurate forecasts and performance reports Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging technologies Provide insights for product development and pricing strategies Ensure compliance with company policies and standards Adhere to documentation, reporting, and approval protocols Ensure all sales transactions meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements Qualifications : Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably handling project-based or technical sales Background in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) is an advantage Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical sales, project management, or solution selling Demonstrated success in project acquisition, including bidding and coordination with clients and technical teams Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent in building client relationships and skilled in negotiation and closing deals Willing to travel to project sites and attend client meetings as needed
