Located in the countrys premier beach destination, Shangri-Las Boracay Resort and Spa is a luxurious and serene haven for vacationers. DUTIES

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Events Management leads and directs the Events Management Team to achieve the catering revenue goals set by the Hotel through specific sales strategy implementation outlined in the Marketing Plan.

He / she is responsible for driving and providing training and personnel development to the team as well as contributing ideas and feedbacks to the operation teams for service enhancement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Highly seasoned Assistant Director of Events Management or in the same capacity in an international resort / hotel
• knowledgeable in Using Delphi system
• Has the ability to come up with strategies for business development, has the knowledge in forecasting and driving the team to achieve revenue goals.
• With proven leadership skills and ability to perform consistently under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills.
• WIlling to be relocated in Boracay Island.
