Paralegal (Remote)

A member of a legal team that has extensive knowledge of the law and legal matters, but is not necessarily a qualified lawyer.

The Paralegals perform a variety of tasks to support lawyers including maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting documents.

• Job Tasks
• Draft and file documents in court
• Write demand letters
• Write letters of representations and motions
• Create record chart and record summary for each client case
• Draft pleadings and petitions
• Draft Petitions and Discovery
• Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree is required; Law graduate
• With at least 1 year of work experience as a Paralegal.
• With a solid knowledge of legal terminology, legal procedure, and substantive law
• Understands the principles of legal writing
• Knowledge of attorney-client relationships applicable to the performance of major duties and responsibilities of the position
• Master skills in basic principles, concepts, and methodology of legal proceedings and legal research
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Has exceptional organizational skills and is able to multi-task
• Ability to work with databases and online technological platforms
• Ability to be detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible
• Ability to handle conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory follow-up
• Proficient command of the English language in both oral and written format
• Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various backgrounds and professional competencies
• Committed to maintaining integrity and confidentiality on behalf of the company, the firm, and its clients
• Willing to work on the Pacific Standard Time schedule_
• Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, core 5 above) and with an internet connection of at least 10mbps_
