Role Name : Business Development Representative (BDR)

Schedule :

  • 40 hours / week, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm with 1 hour of unpaid break
  • US business hours required, EST

Job Description

Take on a strategic role where you’ll be responsible for nurturing high-value prospects and feeding the contract sales pipeline with qualified opportunities. You’ll work exclusively with warm leads who already know the company through conferences, referrals, and inbound inquiries, making your outreach more strategic and effective than typical BDR roles. This position is perfect for someone who wants to be part of the full sales cycle while focusing on the critical early stages that drive major contract deals. You’ll have direct opportunity to contribute to the company’s most valuable revenue stream while building relationships with decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with high-quality internal leads generated from conferences and website inquiries
  • Conduct strategic outbound calling and emailing to prospects already familiar with the company
  • Educate prospects about services and value propositions through consultative conversations
  • Schedule qualified appointments for senior sales staff to pursue high-value contract opportunities
  • Maintain consistent follow-up cadence and reschedule no-shows to maximize meeting conversion
  • Nurture relationships with prospects who have existing company awareness and interest
  • Support the contract sales team by ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified, ready-to-buy meetings
  • Collaborate closely with senior sales team to ensure proper lead handoff and feedback loops
  • Requirements

  • Experience in business development, inside sales, or lead qualification roles
  • Strong phone and email communication skills with professional demeanor
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management processes
  • Proven experience with B2B prospecting and lead qualification methodologies
  • Understanding of software / technology sales cycles and decision-making processes
  • Ability to work US business hours and integrate with existing sales workflows
  • Self-directed with strong organizational skills to manage multiple prospect relationships
  • Goal-oriented mindset with track record of meeting appointment setting and qualification targets
