- 36,000 sqm.
Currently converting to Automation.
Lazada is responsible for the facilities management of these sites inclusive of building infrastructure maintenance, and all internal mechanical handling and automation equipment maintenance.
The Automation Maintenance Manager is required to manage a team of staff to be responsible for automation maintenance 24 / 7, 365 days a year.
The Automation Manager and his team, work constantly and consistently to maintain the automation system in good running order, carrying out inspections, planned maintenance, ad-hoc maintenance, and managing spare parts inventory, upgrades, support retrofit and or new installation projects as needed.
They are critical in an emergency, when the system has shut down unexpectedly, to manage and trouble shoot, to find the cause and rectify as soon as possible.
The automation system is a complex set of machinery, capex of USD 10m in the case of MSC.
The automation system must be kept in good running condition.
This is critical to maintaining operational requirements.
The machine is required to run up to 20 hours a day, 6 days a week and more during campaign.
Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methodsSpare parts inventory managementCarrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faultsDiagnosing breakdown problemsWork with appointed vendors in fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctlyCarrying out quality inspections on jobsArranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or componentsMonitoring and controlling maintenance costsDealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairsImproving health and safety policies and proceduresWorking with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which controls automation systems and other material handling equipmentWriting maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelinesEnsuring there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systemsPerform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operationsPrepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be takenUnderstand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire / life safety, and other systemsComply with all safety procedures and requirementsSupport any afterhours building needs and activities as requiredAttend training sessions and seminars.Other assigned tasks as requested.Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) required.Minimum of 5 years of related experience and / or training.
Minimum two years of supervisory experience in directing or leading the work of others preferred.Ability to travel to various local sites as needed.Experience in the following areas
