Job Description
We are hiring a Product & Retail Channels Manager – AI Consumer Tech. This role is strategic—with direct accountability for establishing Thakral One as the exclusive distributor, building key retail and e-commerce partnerships, and driving rapid business growth from day one. You are expected to combine product leadership, channel persuasion, and hands-on commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies to launch AI-enabled educational robots for kids through toy, consumer electronics, airport, and e-commerce channels.
- Engage and build senior-level relationships (Category Directors, Merchandising Heads) with toy & electronics retail chains, airport F&B & tech retailers, and top local e-commerce platforms.
- Establish Thakral One as the exclusive distributor in PH, negotiating partnerships, pricing, shelf / spot placement, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, marketing, product operations, finance) to ensure product readiness, forecasting, inventory, and revenue tracking.
- Monitor sales performance, margins, inventory turnover, and KPIs; drive corrective actions to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Operate as the product evangelist with retailer and consumer audiences—deliver product training, demos, and field support as needed.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, gathering market feedback to inform product enhancements or new SKUs and shaping future product roadmaps.
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in senior product or channel leadership roles within consumer electronics, toys, or retail tech segments.Proven track record of selling / executing B2B2C distribution deals with toy stores, electronics retailers, airport shops, or e-commerce platforms in the Philippines.Strong existing senior stakeholder relationships—Regional / Country Heads of Merchandising, Category, Digital, or e-commerce in target channels.Deep experience managing product launches, with operational knowledge spanning forecasting, supply chain, promotions, and ROIs.Excellent negotiation and commercial acumen : capable of securing exclusive deals, pricing, margin assurance, and promotional terms.Strong product and consumer-tech orientation, with the ability to articulate AI-driven educational / robotic solutions to buyers and consumers.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to present to retailers, e-commerce teams, and internal leadership.Number of Vacancies
