The IV Nurse is responsible for the safe and effective administration of intravenous wellness therapies, maintaining a clean and organized drip room, monitoring inventory of medical supplies, and supporting the physical therapy and admin teams. This role ensures an exceptional standard of care, safety, and efficiency aligned with Body Mechanic’s mission to promote recovery, performance, and wellness. Key Responsibilities : A. IV Therapy & Patient Care - Perform patient intake, consent review, and pre-IV health screening - Administer IV therapy (e.g., Gluta, Vitamin C, Performance blends) with correct technique and sterile precautions - Monitor patient condition during and after treatment - Educate patients on after-care, hydration, and wellness recommendations - Accurately record patient information, dosage, and vitals in treatment logs. B. Drip Room Management & Inventory - Prepare and organize supplies for each patient (IV sets, gloves, needles, cotton, etc.) - Conduct daily inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records - Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocol and separate soon-to-expire items - Clean and disinfect treatment chairs, trolleys, and surfaces before and after each session. - Ensure medications requiring refrigeration are properly stored - Submit weekly inventory status and restock requests to the admin / purchasing team - Coordinate with suppliers and admin team for prompt restocking. C. Support to PT & Clinic Team - Assist in patient endorsement between the drip room, recovery bar, and treatment areas. - Support PTs with patient setup when needed, especially for wellness packages . - Communicate patient concerns or observations to the PT team. - Ensure all rooms are ready for integrated care (IV + PT combination sessions). D. Administrative & Team Support - Assist front desk / admin in organizing patient records and consent forms. - Help confirm patient schedules and ensure forms are complete before session. - Contribute to maintaining daily clinic cleanliness and readiness. - Participate in staff meetings and training as needed. - Submit daily session count, incident reports (if any), and end-of-day checklist. Qualifications : - Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the Philippines - IV Therapy Certification (updated and active) - At least 1 year of nursing experience (preferably in aesthetics, wellness, or outpatient care) - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Detail-oriented, responsible, and collaborative - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment - Compassionate and patient-centered in care delivery Work Schedule : - 5 to 6-day work week (shift-based), including weekends or special events as needed - Flexibility to assist during events, campaigns, or mobile IV setups (if launched).
