Doctoral degree in computer science, game design, multimedia arts, or related multimedia and computing fields

Doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, or related computing field

At least 1 year of tertiary-level teaching experience, or professional, or research experience directly relevant to computer science, game development, computer graphics.

Substantial scholarly contribution in one's field of specialization, evidenced by commissioned researchprojects, and publications in reputable conferences or journals.

Active participation in professional organizations.

Applicant should be capable of teaching general computing courses, computer graphics, game / graphics programming, game engines such as :

C++ programming

OpenGL / DirectX and related computer graphics tools

Mathematics and physics for games, simulations, interactive techniques.

• Knowledge of one or more of the following
• Unity Engine, Unreal Engine, Blender.

Job Description / Summary

Standard teaching load of 12 hours per week.

The remaining work hours shall be devoted to class preparation, research, thesis advising, commitee work, consultancy, industry immersion, and other approved activities.

Participates in the review and curriculum improvement of the undergraduate Interactive Entertainment program.

Must be willing to teach classes at the Laguna campus, where the program is based.

Faculty rank and salary are determined based on academic degree, teaching experience and research track record.
