Your role

IT Operations Administrator

As the IT Operations Administrator, you will provide troopers with first- and second-level support on hardware and software issues. You will also be in charge of monitoring devices and licenses for Eastwest Ageas Insurance's office applications.

  • You were born to provide IT services – You resolve low- to medium-complexity incidents and find workarounds for critical tickets.
  • You’re great at partnering with external IT providers — You coordinate and foster positive working relationships with external vendors to ensure the delivery of agreed-upon services or products for the company.

What you will do for us

  • Provide first- and second-level hardware and software support and maintenance to all Troopers, including issues with passwords, laptops, and applications such as Office 365.
  • Work with an outside vendor to support and maintain internet connections and telco issues.
  • Assist in the evaluation and testing of new EWA products introduced by the vendor.
  • Provide monthly maintenance support to ensure EWA connectivity.
  • Perform a monthly device inventory, including firewalls, routers, switches, and laptops.
  • Update and distribute security patches to EWA applications every month.
  • Keep track of office application licenses such as Office 365, Adobe DC, and Symantec Antivirus.
  • Before sending iPads to the sales team, double-check their configuration.
  • Manage and troubleshoot information technology security solutions
  • Collaborate with the IT Security and Governance Teams to configure and maintain security solutions and tools (i.e., anti-virus software, firewalls, and patch management).
