E3D Piping Designer - Remote

Job Role : E3D Piping Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform equipment, piping, and pipe support modelling using E3D.

Prepare layout & preliminary MTO from PID for cost estimation.

Prepare piping ISO drawings using ISO Draft.

Add details to drawings extracted from E3D using AutoCAD as needed.

Review vendor drawings and comment as per layout and PID.

Extract reports for piping MTO, weld report, weight, and COG reports.

Modify & re-issue piping isometrics based on site markup.

Prepare clash reports & resolve clashes.

Output design isometrics and pipe supports using respective E3D modules.

Maintain master isometric register for drawings issued and generate weekly progress reports.

Understand piping hook-up drawings and documentation.

Hands-on experience in Navisworks Manage for model review & red markup.

Create review model files as per client requests.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of experience in E3D piping layout design for onshore / offshore oil & gas projects.

Hands-on experience in AutoCAD & Navisworks Manage.
