Key Responsibilities : Develop and oversee the implementation of the company's Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) in accordance with national lawsUpdates, establishes and implements monitoring system / s for the safety development plans and programsFormulates and conducts training programs to institute a safety-first culture on-siteMonitors compliance of all departments with all safety regulatory requirementsEstablishes good relationship with the community and regulatory agencies regarding safety mattersDevelops and monitors the system on mine site traffic to avoid accident in the mine site.Lead the department in aligning safety and health programs with company goals, operational plans, and risk management strategies.Develop departmental budget and resource requirements to effectively support safety initiatives.Act as the primary spokesperson for the company's safety and health matters internally and externally.Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in mining safety and health, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.Valid DOLE-accredited Safety Officer 3 (SO3) or Safety Practitioner / Consultant License.Strong knowledge of Philippine Mine Safety and Health Standards, OSHS, ISO 45001, and other global best practices.Proven leadership, crisis management, communication, and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with auditing, incident investigation methods (e.g., ICAM), and risk analysis tools.
