We are looking for Virtual Medical Receptionists, Scribes, and Billers for Eyecare practices.
Eyecare industry experience is required.
As the front-line employee, your role will be extremely important for maintaining or improving patient experience and satisfaction.
Your goal should always be to make patients comfortable and well-informed.
You will be responsible for various receptionist and clerical duties for the optical practices.
- Job duties and responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls and schedule appointments, redirect the calls or keep messages
- Answer all the customers' questions and address their complaints
- Gather required information from patient and medical insurance providers
- Verify medical insurance benefits and submit insurance claims
- Prepare and manage outgoing mail
- Place supply orders when necessary
- Monitor and update records and files
- Provide general administrative support for the practice
- Job requirements and qualifications
- Fluent English
- Experience and knowledge with medical insurance verification and submission of claims is a plus
- Knowledge of common online systems such as Gsuite, MS Office (especially Excel and Word), etc.
- High School diploma
- Additional qualifications will be a plus
