Performance Tester

Overview :

The Performance Tester is responsible for evaluating the responsiveness, stability, scalability, and speed of software applications under expected workloads.

This role ensures that systems meet performance standards and operate reliably in production.

The Performance Tester works closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.

Ideal candidates are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced with industry-standard testing tools.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and execute performance test plans that simulate real-world load conditions.

Analyze test results and system metrics to detect performance issues and propose optimizations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance requirements and resolve bottlenecks.

Monitor system behavior under stress using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.

Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, scenarios, and benchmark results.

Provide regular performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in performance testing and analysis.

Hands-on knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

Strong understanding of performance metrics, system architecture, and software development lifecycle.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
