Position : Financial Analyst
Working Schedule : 8a-5p EST
Salary Range : PH $2500-$3000 Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving data-informed decisions by performing in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting aligned with business goals. You will also support strategic initiatives through market and competitive analysis, while helping departments improve performance with actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to align with organizational objectives.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop financial models to evaluate business performance, cost efficiencies, and profitability.
- Support strategic decision-making through market research, industry benchmarking, and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, to provide financial insights and support.
- Assist in month-end close activities and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
- Partner with departmental leaders to develop dashboards and reports that drive accountability and performance.
- Contribute to the enhancement and standardization of costing models and product financial processes.
- Identify and resolve project-related financial issues proactively.
- Assist in preparing month-end and year-end financial reporting packages, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Support audit preparation activities and respond to inquiries on financial transactions.
- Contribute to the development and formalization of financial procedures and internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role.CPA designation or active candidacy is considered an asset.Experience with financial software systems (e.g., Sage 300) is a plus.Skills & Competencies
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on meeting deadlines.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with financial modeling.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly.Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
