SUMMARY
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in the early stages of the sales process. This role is responsible for contact info research, proactive outreach, lead follow-up, and qualifying opportunities to build a strong pipeline for the sales team. The SDR acts as the first point of contact for potential clients and is instrumental in setting qualified meetings that lead to new business. This is a critical piece of our account based digital marketing strategy that is targeted toward companies and personas. This role will ensure we are reacting to all intent data and following up with all ad clicks, form fills and inbound leads in a timely manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and identify personas engaging with our ad campaigns (ad clicks) and perform proactive email outreach with multiple touchpoints and follow up to generate interest
Promptly engage with inbound leads from campaign form fills, website form fills, website visits, referrals etc. to understand their needs and determine fit.
Schedule high-quality sales meetings for Senior Executive Partners
Maintain accurate and detailed records of interactions and outcomes in HubSpot CRM. Ensure leads are properly tracked, nurtured, and handed off at the right time.
Work closely with marketing and sales to align messaging, use latest content pieces, share feedback from prospects, and optimize outreach strategies.
Meet or exceed activity and meeting quota targets (calls, emails, meetings booked, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS
Experienced in managing leads and tasks in HubSpot. Maintains clean data and leverages automation to streamline outreach and follow-up processes.
Skilled in cold calling, cold emailing, and using social platforms (especially LinkedIn) for prospecting. Able to craft personalized, compelling outreach emails that drive engagement.
Familiar with qualification frameworks like BANT and capable of identifying high-potential opportunities that fit our Target Client Profile
Confident, articulate, and able to quickly build rapport with prospects. Adapts messaging to align with different buyer personas and industries.
Experience in lead generation for managed service providers (MSPs), IT services, or technology-focused sales is highly preferred.
Manages time, daily tasks, and priorities independently. Able to juggle multiple outreach sequences while maintaining quality and consistency.
Possesses a strong desire to exceed activity and meeting goals. Energized by a fast-paced environment and motivated by success metrics.
Open to feedback, eager to learn, and quick to implement new strategies or techniques.
Can’t be easily discouraged. Will likely hear the word No more than Yes or no response at all and needs to expect that, not be discouraged, and continue the touchpoints with persistence and assertiveness. Usage of HubSpot will help steer focus and allow visibility on contact engagement.
