Job SummaryProject Directorgeneral management of multiple projects and teams and daily construction operations.Oversee projects particularly building works; residential, commercial, and industrial structures.Work in conjunction with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers and controls all construction phases within each project including planning onset until completion.
Key job responsibilities includeManage and support each project team in the technical and contract execution of multiple projects.Directly supervise operations management team including Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Superintendents.Coach, train, and educate Managers and line engineers.
Participates in meetings with various committees and individuals in the development of plans and specifications.Control construction operations of all building works projects; client relationship management, contract management and subcontractor negotiations, business development, and technical strategies.Establish performance and methodology criteria for approval by the owner and client.Responsible for directing the production of design plans and construction documents.
Review Estimation, start-up, scheduling, actual construction, expediting, inspection, quality control, and total delivery of the project according to the established criteria.Provides high-level technical and management competence across the range of skills required for effectively managing large capital, and high-rise building works projects.Provides professional advice and consultation to other staff professionals regarding office policy, procedures, and standards, codes and regulations.Develops standards regarding production and coordination of design and construction team responsibilities.Manages and reviews the development of planning documents, project budgets, drawings and specifications, contract provisions, and project management tools required to support the project management team.Aids in the preparation of professional services and construction contracts.Analyze proposals to ensure completeness and appropriateness.Can represent the company in negotiations with the clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and government agenciesMonitors the progress of construction activities and uses scheduling systems to evaluate the progress of activities.Reviews and approves design and construction schedules and schedules of values for compliance program schedules and contract documents.Reviews and interprets building codes and other regulatory requirements relating to project work.Job RequirementsProject Management Skills are essential including Contract Management, Process Management,Mapping Timelines, Technical Writing and Strategic Planning.Diplomatic communication skills and assertive communication style is a must to work through the issues and manage a professional positive relationship with the client and stakeholders.Should be able to clearly share and understand information expressed verbally and through writing.Ability to identify risks and handle problems as they arise and to keep the team collaborating seamlessly throughout the entire process of resolution implementation.Hard working, highly efficient and must be able to set the pace and keep one step ahead of the team in terms of planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of the construction project.Should be technically capable.Should have a high degree of knowledge and experience in a wide range of engineering and construction work scope taking into consideration methodology, technology, and manpower skills requirements.
Strong leadership skills and a high level of integrity in all his internal and external dealings are essential.The Division Head should lead by example to all of the projects being managed.He should have the ability to coordinate, motivate and control the team that will successfully complete the project based on requirements on schedule and quality.Young Civil Engineering Industry Professionals with at least (10) years of working in the same role in Triple-A Construction Company handling three-five High Rise Building works projects at the same time.Having experience in managing and completing Multi-Billion Projects is preferred.Experience in managing and working with the Filipino workforce, stakeholders, and clientele.
