What you'll be doing
A role has arisen for a Financial Accountant looking for an opportunity to develop and get hands on experience of working in a Group company. This is an exciting and challenging role , and you will play a key role in supporting the Asia finance team in ensuring banks are reconciled, purchase ledgers are reconciled, group intercompany invoicing and helping with the HQ management accounts.
This is a hands on role and the successful candidate must be an effective communicator with the analytical skills to interpret complex data.
Core Deliverables
Full Accounts Payable responsibility for the Asia region including invoice processing, statement reconciliations, supplier payments and maintaining supplier relationshipsFull Accounts receivable responsibility including distributing sales invoices to clients and ensuring forecasted receipts materialise.Assistance with the local audit concerning Philippines and SingaporeReconcile multi currency bank accounts (USD and SGD) and intercompany transfers / payments on a weekly basisAssisting with the Asia payment run consolidationEnsure employee expenses are reviewed, recorded, posted and paid on a monthly basisResponsible for intercompany invoicing.Maintain accounting records, keeping them up to dateSupporting the APAC Finance Manager with ad hoc projects and coordination of monthly management accounts and year end processes.Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts (incl. Debtors, Creditors, Accruals, Prepayments, etc) on a monthly basis for the French SubsidiaryReconciling and posting SG revolut credit cardWho we're looking for :
Fluent in EnglishExperience working as an Accounts Payable Clerk within a fast paced environment.Idealy pursuing or has interest in a higher qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)Familiar with manipulating and interpreting dataFamiliar with SG IFRS; prior experience with SG office monthly closing will be highly considered.Excellent verbal communication skills and can build effective working relationships with colleaguesExperience of working in an unpredictable environment; can deal with unplanned changes to tasks and workloads and successfully handle several tasks at any one timeQuick at learning new systems (advantage if used MS Navision)Intermediate excel skills although training will be providedAttitudes
