Your 'day to day'

As Senior Electronic and Instrumentation Technician, you will:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, instrumentation and control sections of primary equipment, perform preventive maintenance activities according to a prescribed program and act as relief Process Supervisor when any of them are unavailable.
• Identify problems and perform repair of electrical, electronic, instrumentation and control section of Primary equipment.
• Install new control devices or execute PLC or electrical/electronic modifications on machines. Perform, document, and report maintenance on electrical/electronic, control and instrumentation section of Primary equipment according to defined schedule following standard procedures.
• Identify potential sources of equipment problems and conduct root cause and failure analysis in assigned areas.
• Act as a process technician reliever when necessary.
• Perform calibration of instruments, sensors and other relevant equipment as necessary and as prescribed in the maintenance program.

Who we’re looking for:

• A Master Electrician, Electrical Engineer, or a graduate of the Meralco Foundation or similar.
• At least two years experience as an electronics and instrumentation technician in an automated, high volume consumer goods and/or general manufacturing operations.
• Experience in Siemens S5 and S7 PLC technology.
• Knowledge in PLC programming i.e., ladder logic.
• Experience on sensors, controllers, flow meters and handheld devices.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic theories, calibration principles and techniques.
• Able to read process loop sheets and electrical/electronic schematics

Work Schedule: Shifting schedule

Work Location: PMFTC Manufacturing Facilities (Phase 3, Lot 1B, First Philippine Industrial Park, Brgy. Sta Anastacia, Sto. Tomas, Batangas, shuttles provided)
