The Finance Intern will support the External Manufacturing Finance team in various reporting activities including data extraction, loading, and analysis tasks, as well as month-end closing activities. This role provides hands-on experience in finance operations and exposure to tools and processes used in a manufacturing environment. The intern will also assist in project-based initiatives to enhance reporting and monitoring capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform reporting activities including data extraction, loading, and reporting tasks to support finance operations.
Assist with month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Document processes and maintain accuracy in data handling.
Learning Outcomes
Hands-on experience in finance operations and exposure to financial tools.
Development of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills.
Enhanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management techniques.
Understanding of spend buckets and cost drivers within manufacturing finance.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with finance systems and reporting tools is a plus.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills
