Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Recruitment and Engagement Specialist to own end-to-end recruitment execution for the support team and serve as the second-in-command to the HR Manager for recruitment and hiring operations.
This role is hands-on and delivery-focused. The Senior Recruitment Specialist manages the full recruitment lifecycle, ensures strong candidate experience, and maintains healthy hiring pipelines across all active openings.
Beyond recruitment, this role owns onboarding coordination and 30-60-90 day new hire tracking, management of referral programs and applicant sourcing channels, and full ownership of internal engagement, rewards, recognition, and satisfaction management for the support team.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
Own end-to-end recruitment for support team roles as needed, including sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and hiring coordination.
Manage multiple open roles simultaneously across varying levels of seniority.
Act as a key partner to the HR Manager in translating hiring priorities into active recruitment plans.
Maintain healthy pipelines and steady candidate flow across all assigned roles.
Own and manage the referral program for the support team, including mechanics, promotion, tracking, and payouts.
Own management of applicant sourcing channels (e.g., job boards, referrals, internal pools), ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
Monitor channel effectiveness and proactively address gaps or risks to candidate supply.
Act as the primary recruitment point of contact for hiring managers.
Coordinate interviews across time zones and stakeholders.
Ensure clear, timely communication of hiring decisions and next steps.
Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process, including timely updates, clear expectations, and respectful communication.
Onboarding
Own end-to-end onboarding logistics for new hires.
Manage onboarding checklists, document collection, and Day-1 readiness.
Coordinate with Operations, IT, and People Ops to ensure smooth onboarding.
Track and monitor new hires’ 30-60-90 day progress in coordination with hiring managers.
Conduct structured check-ins with new hires to assess onboarding experience, clarify concerns, and surface early risks.
Escalate onboarding issues or patterns impacting new hire success to People Ops with clear observations.
Internal Engagement & Satisfaction
Act as the full owner of internal engagement activities for the support team, including planning, coordination, and execution.
Design and execute rewards and recognition initiatives (e.g., welcome kits, milestone recognition, simple incentive programs).
Own company merchandise production, inventory, and distribution in support of engagement and recognition initiatives.
Coordinate and execute internal engagement events and activities for the support team.
Manage and monitor internal satisfaction of team members through basic pulse checks, feedback collection, and follow-ups.
Identify engagement or satisfaction risks and escalate themes or concerns with supporting observations.
Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably supporting operational or corporate teams.
Proven experience owning end-to-end recruitment for multiple roles simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Experience managing referral programs and multiple sourcing channels.
Experience coordinating onboarding and early-tenure activities (e.g., check-ins, progress tracking) is a strong advantage.
Strong organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable acting as a senior individual contributor and second-in-command to an HR Manager.
Experience working with remote or distributed teams is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
Support team roles are consistently filled within agreed timelines with healthy candidate pipelines.
Recruiters are clear on priorities, accountable, and delivering qualified candidates with minimal rework.
Candidate experience is positive, responsive, and professional, with minimal drop-offs or complaints.
New hires complete onboarding smoothly, with 30-60-90 day check-ins completed and early risks surfaced.
Engagement activities, rewards, and recognition initiatives are executed reliably and on schedule.
Internal satisfaction signals for the support team are actively monitored, with themes escalated early.
Hiring managers experience recruitment and onboarding as organized, dependable, and well-managed.
What We’re Not Looking For
A purely strategic HR, People Experience, or employer branding role.
Someone who prefers policy design, frameworks, or analytics over hands-on delivery.
A junior recruiter role with limited ownership or decision-making authority.
A position with no operational execution—this role is deeply involved in day-to-day hiring, onboarding, and engagement delivery.
