We are seeking an experienced Testing & Commissioning Engineer with a strong Mechanical background for a Steam Turbine Generator (STG) Power Plant project. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing commissioning activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely project completion.
Lead and execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for STG systems.
Review and verify mechanical completion, system readiness, and punch points clearance.
Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and client teams for smooth commissioning execution.
Perform testing of mechanical systems including turbines, auxiliaries, pumps, valves, and piping systems.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and safety procedures.
Prepare commissioning procedures, method statements, and reports.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues during testing and startup phases.
Support performance testing and reliability runs.
Maintain proper documentation and handover records.
Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements.
Strong knowledge of Steam Turbine Generator (STG) systems
Expertise in mechanical commissioning and troubleshooting
Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.)
Good coordination and communication skills
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience in thermal power plants or large-scale energy projects
Prior international project exposure preferred
Experience working with EPC contractors or as a consultant
Qualification - BE/BTech(Mechanical)
Experience - 13+ Years
Industry - STG Power
