Subic Drydock CorporationSubic, Zambales, PHMaintains high standards of work as directed by the Pipes and Valves Superintendent in carrying out maintenance, welding and repair work on plant and equipment in all areas of the Subic Drydock Work Zone. 1.2 Works on pipes / valves repair, installation and maintenance work in a conscientious manner to a high standard of craftsmanship with a minimum of supervision. This work includes maintenance and repair of pumps, pipes, valves compressors and turbines. 1.3 Carries out Preventive Maintenance activities as required. 1.4 Ensures proper and efficient use of all equipment and tools in the workshop. 1.5 Completes an end of shift report and carries out an effective communication and handover exchange with the incoming shift fitter in the work area. 1.6 Works safely at all times. Observes all quality & housekeeping policies. Keeps own work area clean and hygienic. 1.7 Prepares performance ratings. Initiates disciplinary or commendatory actions. 1.8 Recommends promotions, transfer, etc. Acts on grievances submitted through channel concerning employee’s problems. 1.9 Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
