What you will do
• Design and program PLC, HMI, SCADA and MES systems.
• Develop, configure and test databases, reports and automation interfaces to meet project technical requirements.
• Configure automation architecture including distributed I/O, fieldbus networks, Ethernet/IP, AS‑i and industrial control panels.
• Execute installation, start‑up, commissioning and performance testing on production systems.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of FAT protocols, operating manuals and technical documentation as required.
• Design automation systems using ISA‑S88/S95 standards.
• Collaborate with account managers and customers to gather requirements and prepare cost‑effective technical solutions.
• Report to the Project Manager for project‑related tasks including budget control, progress reporting and forecasting.
We believe you have
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Automation Project Engineer in the process industries.
• Knowledge of PLC programming on Rockwell or Siemens systems.
• Knowledge of SCADA programming on AVEVA InTouch, Inductive Ignition, System Platform, Rockwell or Siemens SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of recipe management systems such as InBatch or equivalent.
• Experience with Ethernet networking and field‑bus systems such as Profibus, AS‑i, ControlNet or DeviceNet.
• Automation experience from processing industries including software development and commissioning for continuous or batch processes.
• Familiarity with Windows operating system setup and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity or experience with standards such as S88 or GAMP.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Self‑motivated with broad commercial awareness.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to work under demanding timelines.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
