Job description

WHR Global Consulting, a global talent solution provider is looking for a stellar candidate to fill the role of Product Management Officer (Insurance Products) for its client based in Muntinlupa.

This is for direct hiring and for a full time role.

I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the development and implementation of new general insurance products and required enhancements of the existing products
  • Assists the Product Manager in creating product propositions for digital and partnerships, and various distribution channels
  • Assists in the identification of current and new market trends and opportunities, conduct market scan to usher in business growth
  • Prepares product performance and monitoring reports on a regular basis
  • Ensures overall product compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
  • Ensures relevance of insurance products is maintained relative to competition, market trends, and customer feedback
  • Oversees communication with internal units such as IT, Finance, Operations, and Marketing, regarding updates or changes to the products

II. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor''s Degree or above in any discipline, preferably in Business Administration, Mathematics or Integrated Marketing Communications
  • At least 5 years of insurance product development experience in a life or non-life insurance firm
  • Extensive understanding of local regulatory requirements on general insurance products, preferably with experience in product submissions and filing with the Insurance Commission
  • Keen interest in InsurTech and digital insurance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

    • III. WORK SCHEDULE

    Mondays to Fridays, 8AM to 5PM (subject for extensions depends on the urgency of the request and / or deadlines)
