WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Management :
He may work as mechanical job leader inproject, to coach new comers, check the deliverables,
responsibilities.
On project tendering :
- Contribute to equipment list based on the input from proposal engineer.
- Prepare specification for inquiry when required.
- Prepare technical clarification with vendor.
On project execution :
To prepare production of calculation notes for sizing of equipment (TMH forpumps, discharge pressure for blowers, service air consumption, room ventilation flow rate, andetc.)To prepare equipment specification for inquiry, on the basis of the client specification,process requirements, equipment environmental information, calculation notes andinstallation conditions. Define performance guarantees for the equipment.To check supplier's offers for conformity with the inquiry, technicaloptimization of offers, and comparative analysis of supplier's technical offersTo prepare the Technical Comparison table, technical ranking of offers, andparticipates to the election of the supplier together with project engineering manager, projectbuyer and project managerTo prepare equipment list, equipment list updating / equipment status followupTo prepare the "for order" specification and purchase requisition(SAPHIR)To follow up after order engineering document from supplier : suppliersengineering documentation followup and checkingTo interface with the other disciplines. The ME is working as part of theproject engineering team driven (coordinated) by a project engineering manager, and including designengineers, process engineers (sometimes), electrical, automation, and instrumentation.To work closely with the Project Buyer, Quality engineer and Expediter.To delivers all expected documentation (specifications, technicaldocumentation related to the equipment) according to the project schedule.To prepare instrument specification in local S & M municipal project.To checks P&ID for mechanical part. Supplementary responsibilities (not mandatory) In S or M size project, the Mechanical Engineer is also possible to takefollowing responsibilities :To check the P&ID(Process part)Transversal role :
To follow HSE company rules, and implement HSE requirement in mechanicalengineeringTo follow and contributes in company or department transversal activitiessuch as Eureka, REX, Omega Engineering tools, etc.To supports and contributes in internal project for discipline developmentTo propose design optimization in term of cost and manufacture scheduleTo provide specifications as per client requirementTo evaluate technical offer of different suppliersTo prepare TCT, GFI, GFOTo coordinate with supply chain in order to select technically and commercially compliant offerTo assist project team for any engineering support need with quick reactivity. It will be measured as per project manager feedback.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical EngineeringRegistered Mechanical and Electrical Engineer is an advantage.With at least 2-5 years’ experience from Water and wastewater or Petro chemical industry as Mechanical Engineer. Water and Wastewater Industry or Petro chemical. Experienced in engineering phaseKnowledgeable in Autodesk 3D software (Revit, Naviswork)BU : Water Division - Water Asia
