Draftsperson (NSW Residential Projects)

Work Setup : Full-time, Work-from-Home

Salary Range : PHP 60,000 – 75,000 per month

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Draftsperson with solid background working for Sydney-based architectural, drafting, or residential building companies. This role centres on preparing DA / CDC documentation and full construction drawing sets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with NSW planning and building regulations.

This position suits someone with a strong technical foundation in the NSW planning system, Australian Standards, and residential construction methods.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Drafting

• Produce detailed plans including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules
• Prepare high-quality documentation for :
• Development Applications (DA)
• Complying Development Certificates (CDC)
• Construction Certificates (CC)
• Full construction plans
• Update drawings based on engineering markups, client feedback, or council requirements

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience Must-Have 5–10+ years of drafting experience in residential architecture or building design Mandatory experience working for Sydney-based companies in the same field Advanced Revit skills (modelling, detailing, families, templates, documentation) Strong experience preparing DA, CDC, CC, and full construction documentation Deep understanding of NSW planning regulations (SEPP, LEP, DCP, NCC) Experience preparing plans for NSW Planning Portal submissions Strong knowledge of Australian residential construction methods Excellent written and spoken English Highly Desirable Experience in custom homes, duplexes, townhouses, or small multi-residential projects Knowledge of BASIX and environmental planning requirements Experience working with onshore architects, designers, builders, or engineers
