2D ARTIST (SENIOR-LEAD LEVEL)

Job Description

As a Lead / Senior 2D Artist, you will be responsible for driving the visual development and production of high-quality 2D artwork across our projects. With a strong background in illustration, concept art, and team collaboration, you will play a key role in defining the visual tone and ensuring consistency and excellence across all 2D assets.

In this senior position, you will work closely with the Art Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams—including game designers, animators, and developers—to deliver cohesive, engaging, and visually compelling experiences. You will also mentor junior artists, fostering artistic growth and helping maintain a strong creative culture within the team.

Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, Game Design, Animation, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in 2D digital art with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• A strong professional portfolio showcasing a variety of styles and high-quality 2D artwort.
• Mastery of 2D digital art tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, or Krita.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, color theory, lighting, perspective, and composition.
• Ability to create both stylized and realistic artwork depending on project needs.
• Familiarity with concept art, storyboarding, UI / UX art, and visual development pipelines.
• Knowledge of tools like Spine, After Effects, or other 2D animation software is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
