About the Job :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Project Engineer (Civil) to lead the civil design and implementation of utility-scale solar power projects. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing site development works, ensuring alignment with engineering standards, project timelines, and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes safely and efficiently. From resolving site-level challenges to managing documentation and risk, your expertise will be critical in driving project success. Design, Planning, and Execution : Develop civil designs, site layouts, and engineering plans; oversee and coordinate all civil works to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality construction.

Site and Contractor Management : Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure safety and environmental compliance; manage coordination with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to align with project goals.

Quality, Documentation, and Reporting : Conduct quality checks, maintain project documentation, and generate progress reports to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Stakeholder Coordination and Risk Management : Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues and keep the project on track; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Other Duties : Perform related tasks as assigned, including reassignment to other project locations if required.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Licensed Civil Engineer.

5+ years of professional work experience, with at least 3 years of experience working in the field as a Project Engineer for solar projects, is required.

Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.

Proficiency in large-scale grading design and earthwork calculations is required.

Familiarity with erosion and sediment control applications in dry / arid environments and cost-effective nonvegetative stabilization techniques is highly desired.

Experience performing detailed design of solar facilities with complex topographic, environmental, and nonparticipating infrastructure constraints is highly desired.

Geographic information system (GIS) experience is highly desired.

Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
