It Business Analyst / Devops Engineer

DevOps Engineer Financial Markets & Treasury : Backoffice / BOTSWithin Financial Markets & Group Treasury, we are looking for an enthusiastic DevOps Engineer / IT Business Analyst.

You will work with your team to build an in-house back office system used globally within ING Financial Markets.Bots is ING's back office application for capital market and derivative transactions for Financial Markets & Group Treasury products.

It connects to most Financial Markets Front Office deal capture and finance systems used by ING trading locations worldwide.

The team operates as a BizDevOps squad representing ING Tech.Main services delivered by Bots include : Processing trades and confirming them to clients;Creating journal events for finance systems;Creating payment messages for the payment engine;Creating reconciliation files between Treasury systems;Providing end-of-day files for systems further down the pipeline.As a Bots DevOps Engineer / IT Business Analyst, you will operate in a multidisciplinary role where Bots knowledge, IT Automation, Operations, and stakeholder management are key.

Knowledge of IT Operations is essential.

Familiarity with the ING-built Bots system is a plus.Your main responsibilities include analyzing and designing new solutions and functionalities within an agile team.

You will participate in software releases to internal clients.

Additionally, you will analyze and resolve daily issues in production.

Since Bots is built on Magic software, knowledge of the Magic programming language is advantageous.Job description : Collaborate with IT colleagues across Manila, Amsterdam, Singapore, Bangalore, and Bucharest to develop new functionalities for our global user base;Analyze, discuss, develop, test, and implement user-requested changes;Work within an Agile environment with two-week sprints;Implement and document ING's IT Risk & Security controls;Enhance current processes through automation and improve the Customer Journey.What you bring to the teamA university degree in Business Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field;Experience as an Ops engineer or business analyst;Experience working with Oracle & Linux;Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Financial Markets products;Experience in an Agile / Scrum environment;Familiarity with tools like Confluence and Snow;Experience or interest in IT Risk & Security concepts;Excellent communication skills in English;Strong analytical skills, proactive attitude, and willingness to share knowledge;Ability to thrive in a team and work in a multidisciplinary environment.
