Title : Multi-Production Product Control Ops (fully work-from-home role) Core Function To Support 7x24x365 Production Control products for both Distributed and Mainframe environments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Level 2 - Product Support for two environments : Distributed and Mainframe with multiple accounts. Level 2 - Must be able to support the following product tools : Distributed Autosys L2, Mainframe CA7, TWS, and Control-M.
Responsible for production batch applications, developing Operational plans, scheduling, control of batch processing and development of clients' scripts.
Responsible for Operations support, disaster activities, Problem and Change activities, and Quality assurance, in compliance with customer / client SLAs.
Knowledge of : Softcopy – Control-D Web access, Control-D agent for Windows, and DocView Product Support.
Perform batch job scheduling functions for test and production using Enterprise Manager and Control M in a multiple mainframe and midrange environment, in conjunction with FTP and Connect Direct protocols.
Activities required for the proper order of submission for batch job processing across all managed platforms.
Code promotion – application library management – services for promoting code of application libraries from development into production.
Abend resolution Work with application programming staff to ensure and improve productivity Work directly with clients to meet service level requirements Provide 24x7 on call support Must possess excellent communication and writing skills.
