Overview
Senior Product Marketing Manager, IBM Software — IBM, Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office.
Responsibilities
- Lead product-level marketing and communications to grow IBM’s software market share and support revenue for IBM Software offerings.
- Articulate the value proposition to target audiences and translate technology into marketing messages that influence analysts, customers, and partners.
- Collaborate across geographies with Marketing, Product Management, Sellers, and Business Partners.
- Drive outcomes by connecting differentiated points of view with the right buyers and experts, measured by metrics such as new signings, retention, average customer value, market segment share, win / loss rate, analyst ranking, and social influence.
- Act as the market catalyst for IBM Software offerings, providing guiding views on key problems, competitors, and differentiators grounded in data.
- Identify opportunities, distinctive competencies, and positioning for IBM software products.
- Translate technology into marketing messages to influence analysts, customers, and partners toward IBM’s offerings.
- Galvanize internal support across channels and drive demand for the offerings.
- Stay active in customer conversations at events or in the field and online.
Qualifications
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams across diverse skill sets and backgrounds.Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-changing environment.Demonstrated success in launching and scaling enterprise software products, including ownership of messaging, positioning, and go-to-market execution.Experience conducting market, competitive, and customer research to inform messaging, content strategy, and product direction.Proficiency in creating high-impact content for the full funnel, including product demos, thought leadership, sales enablement assets, and customer-facing collateral.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI / CD, APIs, and cloud-native architectures to effectively market to developers and technical stakeholders.Ability to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions by serving as the voice of the market and customer within cross-functional teams.Metrics-driven mindset, with experience using KPIs to optimize campaign performance, content engagement, and sales pipeline impact.A technical background in software engineering or computer science, demonstrated through prior professional experience or academic credentials.Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
Strong familiarity with buying behaviors and decision-making processes for developer, infrastructure, and DevOps-focused solutions.5 or more years of experience in Product Marketing, Demand Strategy or Product Management.Education
