Job description

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Associate to join our remote team. As a JLA, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our legal team with research, document preparation, and case management.

Compensation : 200 - $400 salary

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct legal research on various topics and present findings to the team
  • Assist in preparing legal documents and filings, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • File legal paperwork online with State and Federal courts
  • Review and analyze case law to provide legal recommendations and insights
  • Organize and maintain legal files and databases
  • Collaborate with the legal team on projects and matters

Qualifications : Requirements :

  • Graduate degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of experience in a law firm or legal environment
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical, research, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with legal research tools and databases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Native English (US) speaker

    • Working Conditions :

  • Remote work arrangement
  • Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM CDT (CST)
  • 1-hour break per shift
  • Willingness to work overtime if required
  • 3-hour training sessions weekly after work hours
