QA Engineer

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through systematic testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Test Planning and Strategy:

• Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and timelines.
• Design and implement effective test strategies to ensure thorough test coverage

Test Execution:

• Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality.
• Conduct regression testing to identify and resolve software defects.
• Execute performance testing to assess system scalability and reliability

Defect Management:

• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve reported issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring defects.

Automation Testing:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous testing processes.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the build pipeline.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of quality requirements
• Participate in design and code reviews to proactively address quality concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Experience in manual and automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
