Job Role : Google Ads / Meta Ads Specialist (Permanent Remote job)
Compensation range : 1,500 - 3,000 AUD / month
Engagement type : Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule : This role is expected to align with the client business hours (approx. 12 PM - 9 PM, Tuesday to Saturday OR Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview : We're looking for a Google Ads / Meta Ads Specialist with strong technical skills, someone who can confidently manage and optimise campaigns, set up tracking and tagging, and navigate platforms like WordPress and Shopify to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, execute, and optimise advanced performance marketing campaigns across :
- Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Discovery, Performance Max)
- Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Audience Network)
- TikTok Ads Manager
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager (B2B & recruitment)
- YouTube Ads (TrueView & In-Stream formats)
- Pinterest, Snapchat, and X (Twitter) Ads where relevant
- Build and maintain a robust tracking and data infrastructure :
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Meta Pixel + Conversions API, TikTok Pixel & Events API
- UTM tagging and data-layer configuration
- Integration with Shopify, CRM, and email automation systems
- Oversee landing page and funnel performance using WordPress and Elementor, ensuring all tracking codes, pixels, and conversion events are embedded and functional.
- Conduct A / B and multivariate testing for ad creative, audiences, and offers to maximise CTR, CPA, and ROAS.
- Create and maintain real-time dashboards and reports, translating campaign data into actionable commercial insight.
- Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies to keep campaigns performing at the forefront.
- Manage ad spend, forecasting, and bidding strategy across multiple brands and sites.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years’ proven experience in end-to-end management of paid digital advertising across Google, Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.Demonstrated success managing large budgets and achieving high-ROI campaign outcomes.Expert knowledge of CPC, CPA, ROAS, and full-funnel optimisation.Advanced technical proficiency with WordPress and Elementor.Deep understanding of data analytics, attribution modelling, and conversion tracking.Skilled with Google Ads Editor, Meta Business Suite, and TikTok Ads Manager.Strong command of Shopify, HubSpot / ActiveCampaign / Klaviyo, and Looker Studio (or equivalent reporting tools).Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting data-driven insights to executives.Proactive, organised, and able to operate autonomously in a high-growth environment.Nice to have :
Experience with SEO, SEM, and content integration strategies.Familiarity with AI and automation tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud).Previous experience in the fitness, wellness, or lifestyle sector.Why Join This Team
