Job Summary
Experience Mapping Director leads teams in orchestrating data‑fueled experiences across paid, owned and earned media that adds value to clients’ business.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead in proactively spotting digital opportunities in the categories clients play in and inspiring the team to develop the work needed to capture identified opportunities.
- Take the lead in demonstrating the effectiveness of the experiences we create within the business unit, and to get recognition in the marketing industry, inside client organizations and within the MWG network.
- Ensure that more junior members of the Mapping team provide reliable guidance on the emerging technological context to the rest of the business unit and have ready access to the relevant data points.
- Become the go‑to partner to consult for digital solutions to business problems by Executive and Senior Brand levels.
- Lead mapping teams to deliver the precise output needed to create effective experiences.
- Set the standards for the kinds of experiences we aspire to achieve and inspire junior members of the team to keep creating effective output. Inspire the team to harness data in refreshing ways.
Technical or Specific Skills
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.Analytical skills.Ability to effectively communicate with data analysts, technical analysts and business experts while translating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.In‑depth experience in customer journey and patient journey mapping.In‑depth experience in analyzing data from paid and free data sources and generating insights to inform experience strategies and set KPIs for proposed experience plans.In‑depth experience in operating data platforms GWI, SEMrush, social listening tools, social media analytics tools.Working knowledge of fundamentals of SEO, Google Analytics and digital performance marketing.Mastery in development of integrated omnichannel experience planning that integrates paid, owned and earned media and offline and online channels.Ability to mentor juniors in technical and critical thinking skills.Dependable both as an individual contributor and as a team member.Qualifications
Graduate of a business, advertising, marketing, communications, or analytics‑related course.At least 4 years of collective experience in digital marketing – social media strategy, media operations / planning, analytics research, and / or UX, preferably with at least 1 year team leadership experience.Seniority Level
