US CAD Drafter / Submittal Coordinator (Remote)

Background

At PeoplePartners, we’re hiring for one of our trusted US-based clients in the cabling and AV space. If you're organized, tech-savvy, and love creating order from chaos, this could be your chance to launch a career in drafting and project coordination—without leaving home.

About the Role

You’ll help keep jobs moving by building drawing packages, coordinating submittals, and updating project documentation. You'll start on data cabling projects, and if you nail it, grow into AV and security.

Your Key Responsibilities :

Draft as-built drawings using Adobe or Revit.

Send materials cut sheets to clients & track approvals.

Assemble submittal packages (data cabling + security).

Create record drawings for the field.

Help with preliminary bids when needed.

Requirements

About YOU

You’re fast on the keyboard, love floor plans, and get a buzz from keeping projects tidy. Maybe you’ve tinkered with CAD before—or even just enjoy tech tools like Bluebeam or Adobe.

About YOUR Work History

Entry-level friendly (0–6 months experience is fine).

Some CAD, Bluebeam, or Adobe exposure = a big plus.

Bonus points if you've touched floor plans or architectural docs.
