Field Technician

Installation & Setup :

Mount, wire, program, and test equipment according to specifications and customer needs.

Troubleshooting & Repair :

Diagnose and resolve malfunctions, identify and replace faulty components, and restore equipment to operational status.

Maintenance :

Perform routine maintenance on systems to ensure they function correctly and meet performance standards.

Customer Support :

Interact professionally with customers, provide training on product usage, and maintain good relationships.

Documentation :

Document all work performed, maintain equipment logs, and document issues for future reference.

Logistics :

Manage technical products, services, and provisioning for assigned customers.

Typical Qualifications

Education :

A Bachelor of Science or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is often preferred.

Experience :

Prior relevant work experience is a plus, especially in the telecommunication, aerospace, or related industries.

Skills :

Strong technical knowledge of the specific equipment and systems being supported.
