The role is critical in evaluating credit proposals, managing portfolio risks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The Credit Analyst will provide objective and thorough assessments of loan applications, ensuring sound credit decisions and proactive portfolio management. You will collaborate closely with the Corporate Banking Segment (CBS) team, deliver high-quality evaluations, and uphold the banks standards for risk management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CBS counterparts to ensure timely submission of pre-approval requirements and effective portfolio management.
• Prepare Evaluations and Recommendations for Credit Accommodation (ERCA) for renewals, ensuring alignment with policy and service level agreements.
• Validate borrower information, collateral, and documentation as part of credit analysis.
• Identify policy or regulatory exceptions, assess risks, and recommend appropriate mitigations.
• Develop financial models and conduct in-depth financial analyses for new borrowing clients; review ERCA prepared by CBS when required.
• Assign and maintain accurate credit risk ratings and classifications across accounts.
